In the campaign for modernised relay services, it is essential for TAG to respond to consultation documents from Ofcom, the UK Government, and the European Union.

 

These consultations are usually about the general telecoms context and are generally very technical in nature requiring a lot of thought before responses can be made. TAG puts a lot of effort into these responses and welcomes your views.

 

TAG is currently working on responses to these consultation documents that are relevant to deaf telephone relay services:

 

Ofcom's proposals to improve relay services for people with a hearing impairment to communicate on the phone. 

 

The UK Government's Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS) consultation on
Implementing the Revised EU Electronic Communications Framework.
